Hello and welcome to this week’s ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers weekly edition and we’ve got some spoilery goodies to share.
After if being the day before the hearing for a couple of week’s we’re finally going to get into Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)’s visitation hearing.
This is going to be an interesting few episodes coming up as we expect a whole lot of venom flying back and forth, and judging by the weekly preview, Nina will walk away with a victory.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nothing but the truth
Now that things will get underway, we expect some intense drama as everything we’ve seen and know will be brought out once more and weaponized.
One twist that we’re curious about seeing will depend on if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) takes the stand for Nina like he wants.
If he does, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers think there’s every possibility that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will get a hint that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) had tests down, and it’ll open the door to some attempts to cross examine her to find out more.
But that feels almost too contrived. As it stands, we think it’ll be more likely that it’ll be a battle of who’s worse – Nina and her history, or the Corinthos name, which Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will swear he’s trying to clean up.
Scott will then point out his contribution to a PA attorney to coerce a trial against Nina.
If there’s an opening, Scott will take it.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow’s triggered
The main reason we expect Nina to win is from the way Willow Tate (Katelyn MacMullen) grabs her and tells her she’s not going anywhere.
We could be wrong on this, but it feels like Willow will either be furious that she lost, or maybe because of testimony from Nina or Scott ripping into someone on the witness stand.
We feel for her with everything she’s going through, and whatever will set her off, it’s got to be something that goes Nina’s way since Willow has completely bought into the revisionist history Michael and Carly like to weave and her hatred for Nina has reached a pure state.
This will set up things nicely for when the truth about Nina being her mother comes out as we expect that to go badly for everyone involved until Willow breaks free of the group think and she and Nina actually talk.
But that’s a long way off after this hearing, and that’ll be a fun one to watch.
