‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off a new week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This episode is going to have some interesting moments as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) figures out Ashland Locke (Robert Newman)’s Achilles heel and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) have her qualifications questioned.
There’s going to be a pretty cool segment where Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will sit down to talk shop and a job offer may or may not be on the table.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, May 23: Victor finds a weak spot
It’s hard to believe, but it looks like Victor will finally learn that Ashland’s son is his weak spot.
We suspect he’ll come to this knowledge from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) after she watched Kyle Abbott (Mi chael Mealor) refuse to allow Ashland to see his son.
How Victor will use this is anyone’s guess, but he could off Ashland his help in seeing his son if he leaves Genoa City and never returns.
It’ll be an empty promise and we don’t think it’ll work, but it’s the obvious option. We have little doubt Victor will try to use this as a bargaining chip, but there’s another side to this information.
Victoria may have delivered the information, but she’s conflicted and may not want to exploit Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). We get the feeling this storyline will be with us for a few more months.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, May 23: Talking shop
With Summer and Kyle’s plan for Jabot to purchase Marchetti in the early stages, Summer’s going to put out some feelers for potential business partners to help run the company in Genoa City.
So, it’s not a surprise Summer will start checking in with the talent in the city to see how they’re doing and to gauge their interest, and she’s going to start with Chelsea.
This should be a fun scene just to see them interact, and we’re curious what Summer’s plans are since Chelsea and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) started their own company.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, May 23: Nepotism is a qualification?
Nikki’s going to find herself in a familiar role as her qualifications as Newman Enterprises Co-CEO, and we’re expecting a good portion of it to be focused on the Newman family nepotism.
Honestly, it shouldn’t be a surprise given Victor’s idea of a power structure defines the term, but this will be another challenge for Nikki to overcome and prove she’s worthy.
We think she’ll come trough with flying colors and this should be a good scene as she’ll put on a master class.
