As a good sportsman and as a serious fighter, Conor McGregor was about to keep his promise and quit smoking weed and stop drinking alcohol as his preparations for the UFC return are ongoing. At least that is what the public is expecting of him. However, looks like the Notorious got used to the life he is living for the last two years.
Despite starting to train, Conor McGregor continued to enjoy his flamboyant lifestyle. In the last few days, he was enjoying drinking good wine and cognac in France. He finished his adventure in Monaco, where he picked up his brand new Lamborghini yacht.
Conor McGregor Smokes Weed Instead Of Training For His UFC Return – Buys A Yacht And Cruises French Riviera
Rumors say that the worth of this yacht is somewhere above $3.2 million. The Tecnomar 63 yacht is the 12th yacht of the total 63 that are to be built. The Notorious symbolically buys the number 12, as a tribute to his whiskey brand Proper No.12.
The Notorious is about to return to the octagon after his promise to the fans in January. Recently he posted photos of him straining and sparing, he promised to stop drinking and smoking weed and bring back together his healthy lifestyle once again.
Four months into the promise and he still seems not ready to give up any of the vises. He has been seen on the yacht, drinking whiskey, smoking weed, and partying with a group of people.
The Notorious doesn’t take his announced comeback too seriously for now. This leaves his fans in thought. Is he serious about his comeback? Or is he just teasing the public?
He made very serious call-outs recently. He challenged the current undefeated UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, and asked for a direct fight for the title. However, many critics are sure that is not the correct way to go. The UFC needs to test him before giving him a title shot. After a long pause like this, and after so much alcohol and drugs who can guarantee his condition? According to the critics, he cannot physically match Kamaru’s condition and endurance.
And to be honest, there are better fighters than the cocky Irishman who do deserve the title shot more than him. After all, he lost his last two fights. To put it in other words, he lost three out of four fights since 2018. He did not show what he needed to show against Dustin Poirier in the first, or the second event.
At first, he managed to win the public’s hearts with his charisma, but he had the skill to match it. Now he is still the same charismatic person, but does he still have the skill? The public wants to see him compete. Wants to see him thirsty for a fight, not for a bag of money.
