Duchess Of Sussex, Meghan Markle Releases A Statement Following News Of Her Visit To The UK For The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Speaking about this program, Meghan made it clear that, “childcare isn’t just a community imperative, it’s a business imperative.” The Marshall plans for moms aims at advocating for policies that help to support mothers in raising their children.
Being a mother of two herself, it is understandable why this would mean so much to the Duchess of Sussex. It was also announced a while before this that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be bringing their children, Archie and Lilibet from the United States to the UK for their great-grandmother’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.
A spokesman for the Sussexes passed this message across. “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honored to attend the Queen’s platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children.”
This will be the first time since 2020 that Archie would be in the UK, and Lilibet who has not been seen in public since she was born in June 2021 would make her first visit to the UK and also her first Royal appearance and would finally be meeting her extended family for the first time. Prince Harry had once mentioned that he had always wanted to bring his family down to the UK but he had some security concerns.
