Britney Spears has tragically announced that she has had a miscarriage.
Fans React As Britney Spears Announces She Has Had A Miscarriage-‘She Made It Up Because She’s Not Well’
This is a major setback for the singer after having just come through her conservatorship victory against her father, Jamie Spears. And ever since that moment, Britney made it clear that she was looking to start a family with Sam Asghari.
After all, she had claimed that the terms of her conservatorship meant that she was not allowed to remove an IUD device that had made it impossible for her to have kids. With that being said, Britney’s sadness was there for all to see now that this news had been confirmed.
In a joint statement given by the couple, they said: “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.
“This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along.” Nevertheless, the star has attempted to not let this have a negative impact on her.
First of all, she still has many things to look forward to. Just prior to this news breaking, Sam had confirmed that the couple had set an official wedding date.
While the date will not be disclosed until the marriage has been done, this does provide Britney that extra privacy that she needs in order to get over this. Secondly, in any event, the couple have made it clear that they will continue with their plans to have kids.
The statement added: “We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
The response from the fans on social media was mixed. While people were devastated for the singer, others questioned whether Britney may have come to some premature conclusions.
One person wrote: “Or, dare I say it, she made it up,” while another person stated: “Maybe the basis is simply that she wanted it to be true and she made it up because she’s not well.”
