Fans Support Sasha Banks and Naomi

It’s been reported that the WWE doesn’t promote their individual stars in favor of the WWE brand being the attraction, but that hasn’t kept fans from picking our favorites.

Two of the most avid fanbases in the WWE are for Sasha Banks and Naomi, and after the WWE announced they walked out of Raw over creative differences, fans took to social media to show their support.

Fans didn’t waste any time in firing back at the WWE for their bad booking of the women’s division and in general and have expressed their support for Banks.

Others have stated their desire for Banks to go to AEW, but most are targeting Corey Graves for a comment he made during last nights show calling them unprofessional.

"Sasha Banks and Naomi summarily and unprofessionally walked out" – Corey Graves

    On the attack

It’s typical WWE to go after any talent that refuses to work while ignoring the reasons why it happened, like when they did the hit piece on Steve Austin on the 4th episode of Confidential.

He didn’t show up over creative differences with no build up to him losing to Brock Lesnar. It was about the lack of creative use in that storyline and Vince had everyone trash Austin.

Then there’s the infamous “Bret screwed Bret” interview following the Montreal Screwjob.

So, it’s not surprising Graves would say something like that, and there’s every reason to think Vince fed him the line as every former commentator has said that’s what he does.

And the fans aren’t backing down. Because of that, there’s a healthy debate going on between Banks and Naomi’s fans and not-fans.

    Multiple reasons

While there isn’t much known about why they walked out, the WWE released a statement saying they handed their tag titles over and left the building.

It’s been reported that Banks had a meeting with Vince about the 6 pack challenge match for Raw’s main event, and when neither side budged she and Naomi walked out.

The current speculation is that Banks took issue with how the Women’s tag division was being booked as well as the division as a whole.

Over the weekend prior to Raw on May 16, Banks reportedly unfollowed everything WWE, including Vince McMahon.

For her part, Naomi reportedly hinted at burnout and may have wanted time off as well as having issues with creative.

Their reasons are speculation at the moment, but we’re sure more will come out over time when they speak out.

Until then, fans will continue having their backs more than not.
