Madonna is taking her brand to a new frontier by producing NFTs. However, she isn’t just dipping a toe in the water to test the temperature. Oh no, she’s leaving it all on the dance floor with a 3D model of her vagina.
Madonna to Sell NFT Collection Featuring a 3D Model of Her Vagina for Charity
The Grammy Award-winning artist has teamed up with Beeple which sold an NFT for around $69 million last year—so good partner pick by Madonna. Titled Mother of Creation, the project will be an X-rated NFT collection with part one being “Mother of Nature” with others being “Mother of Evolution” and “Mother of Technology”. Most notable has been the 3D modeling of the singer’s vagina.
It will be featured throughout the collection as plant life is shown growing from it in several scenes which can be viewed on the collection’s site. In part two, we see butterflies coming out of her vagina. A head’s up: this is not suitable for work, school, or situations that could become awkward really fast.
In addition to saying that the modeling of her vagina was done via a scan, Madonna would speak on the creative direction of the project in a statement:
“I wanted to investigate the concept of creation, not only the way a child enters the world through a woman’s vagina, but also the way an artist gives birth to creativity.”
