Michael Rapaport Blasts Harry And Meghan For Their Netflix Docuseries-‘Get A Life, You Left The Royal Family To Do A Reality Show’
This arrives in response to the reports that the pair are going to have their own docuseries on Netflix. The aim of the series will be to showcase the intimate life of the couple. However, it has been ridiculed as being akin to that of a Kardashians reality show.
And given that the couple had complained about the media intrusion that they had suffered in the Royal family, the last thing people expected was for the duo to invite the cameras in their home, especially in a reality context.
Comedian Michael Rapaport, a guest host on ‘The Wendy Williams Show,’ had this to say: “These two, you need to get a life. You need to get a life. You left the Royal Family to do a reality show.”
But this was just the start of the criticism. Michael expanded on how he felt Harry had become overwhelmed by Megan’s influence.
In the process of doing so, he suggested that she was firmly in charge of the decision-making process in the relationship. He characterised this thought process by virtue of the fact that the couple have been involved in numerous ventures.
He added: “She is driving the ship. I just don’t understand it, they were doing philanthropy and now they are doing a reality show. A rumour has it that they might be starting a CBD company.
“What’s the deal…Are you money laundering?” In reality, the couple had to do something in light of their commitment towards their Netflix deal. And the popularity of reality series in America is certainly a market that they could tap into.
After all, there is a storyline about their life post the Royals that could be explored. And yet, Michael did not understand the rationale. His following comments confirmed as much: “I just don’t know what they want, what’s their end game?”
