Master Wato has not been wrestling a good tournament thus far, having dropped his first two matches. He faces a familiar foe with BUSHI tonight – and the hope is that this will finally get him a win. BUSHI is sitting pretty at two points, and leads the series of matches against Wato with a 2-1 record – giving some warranted confidence in this match.
BUSHI Has Never Liked Master Wato
BUSHI started fast with a dropkick to the back, before Wato would hit the jumping solebutt kick. Wato would slide to the floor, before ripping the shirt of BUSHI off – not allowing him to get a chance to choke with it. BUSHI shoved Wato into the ring post, before a DDT on the floor.
The neckbreaker would follow in the ring, allowing BUSHI to get a two count. Wato was kept on the mat, with BUSHI hitting some stomps. A dropkick sent BUSHI to the floor, before Wato nailed the dive over the top rope.
Back in the ring, Wato would hit the spin kick, and got a two count. Buzzsaw Kick would miss, before BUSHI nailed a short dropkick near the ropes. DDT onto the apron would follow, but Wato was able to fight back with a high angle German Suplex. He’d go up top for the RPP, but BUSHI moved out of the way.
Backstabber would land for BUSHI, before the Lungblower would land. MX followed, and Master Wato was not getting up. BUSHI moves to four points in dominant fashion. Wato is soon to lose hope of making the finals, while BUSHI starts to pick up steam.
Titán & El Phantasmo Look To Steal The Show
Much like Master Wato in the last match, Titán is coming into tonight’s match with the risk of starting up a losing streak after dropping back to back matches. Meanwhile, El Phantasmo is building up some confidence with a perfect record – and a chance to sit on top of the block with 6 points after tonight.
Titán offered a handshake, and even after ELP would spit in his hand – he’d still shake his hand. ELP would apply the wrist lock, before Titán was able to easily fight free. Rear chinlock would take Titán down to the mat, before ELP would nearly be rolled up.
ELP found time to taunt, before stopping a springboard with a huge chop. Titán took advantage with a crossbody, before making fun of ELP by stealing his taunts. ELP would throw a lariat, but Titán had a matrix like dodge before he’d spring across the ring, catch the wrist of ELP – walk the ropes, and hit a hurricanrana. Titán would flip the floor, before a thrust kick to the mid-section.
ELP would hit the stalling vertical suplex before stomping on the fingers of Titán repeatedly. The fingers were bent on the mat, before ELP would rope walk into a back rake. Titán would catch ELP on the top rope with a hurricanrana, before throwing a heavy thrust kick. Tornado DDT to ELP sent him to the floor, before Titán hit a beautiful Asai Moonsault.
A powerbomb would land on Titán in the ring, before ELP would loosen up his mask. ELP would kick him in the face, before going to the top rope. An enziguri would follow, before a springboard double stomp would get a near fall.
ELP would manage the UFO, but Titán would kick out. Titán would get unmasked, but ELP pretended this was a mistake before the Sudden Death & CR2 for the win.
