The singer is set to appear as a guest host on Saturday, 14th May. And now that the time is fast approaching, she could not wait for it. Selena should be primed for showing herself in front of a global audience, given that she has done this in her music career.
Not only that, but she does have an acting background having been a Disney star. With that background in place, it seems to be a recipe for success. With that being said, Selena suggested that it was her career highlight.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, she shared a picture of some colored post-stick notes. They included her name, as well as Post Malone, as the two people who will join the show.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Mom…I think I’ve made it. So grateful and so excited. See you May 14!!!”
Selena would be following in the footsteps of some pretty big stars, who have hosted the show. Some of these include Steve Martin. The former has had the privilege of hosting the show, as much as 15 times.
In addition, Alec Baldwin has also had the gig. But this is unlikely to happen in the future, given what had happened on the set of ‘Rust.’ With so many big names having appeared on the show, Selena could be forgiven for feeling the pressure.
And yet, those who are in her circle believe that she will do the business. Mandy Teefey, who happens to be Selena’s mother, had this to say: “You are going to own this!!! You have beyond made it, love!! XO.”
Meanwhile, Selena’s close friend Camila Cabello simply said: “YESSSS B**CH.” Time will tell if Selena can pull this off. But based on the reaction that has been coming out, she has every chance of pulling this off.
