‘Selling Sunset’ star Christine Quinn has denied claims that she faked her positive Covid test in order to miss out on the season 5 reunion show.
‘Selling Sunset’ Star Christine Quinn Denies Faking Her Positive Covid Test To Miss The Reunion Show-‘I Absolutely Did Have COVID’
This claim had initially been hinted at by Mary Fitzgerald, who alleged Christine had tested negative on two occasions prior to the reunion.
And given that the show’s other star Emma Hernan had also allegedly claimed that Christine had attempted to bribe her client with $5,000, so that the client would not work with her again, her positive test was seen as more than just a coincidence.
And yet, Christine denied that she had done anything wrong. When talk show host Andy Cohen asked her: “People think you faked COVID,” she replied: “I absolutely did have COVID. I absolutely did, yes.”
Andy, though, did not let the star off the hook. He went on to grill her by suggesting why did she not attend the reunion via a virtual call.
It could be argued that Christine did have Covid, so she was not in the best possible condition to do so. However, that was not the response from Christine.
In fact, her concerns were more to do with the fact that her appearance might not have come across in a good way. She added: “I was in bed until 4 o’clock that day. And like, no one wants to see what I look like in the morning.”
Nevertheless, the fans on social media had a different take on the matter. People were of the view that Christine could have made more effort, if she really wanted to appear at the reunion, as things can be done remotely.
Thus, they doubted the credibility of her story. One person wrote: “She lies. She can’t keep her own story straight.” Only Christine knows what really went down, but outside of any evidence to the contrary, we must give her the benefit of the doubt.
