United Empire made a mistake when they crashed the ROH World Tag Team Championship match between FTR & Roppongi Vice. While it certainly helped Great-O-Khan & Jeff Cobb make an impact, it also put two teams on their tails ahead of Forbidden Door. Now, with them holding the IWGP Tag Team Championships for the second time, and FTR still holding the ROH World Tag Team Championships? It’s time for a winner takes all triple threat match, where Roppongi Vice is the only team without something to lose, but everyone has something to gain.
Dax Harwood Quickly Taken To Back Following Possible Shoulder Injury
Two men would be in the ring, with tags able to come from anyone. Trent & Harwood would start up, with Harwood hitting the shoulder tackle before Cobb tagged in off of Trent. He’d throw Harwood around, before Romero & Wheeler became legal. They’d cut Romero down for the drop toehold into the elbow drop, and Harwood was hurt.
He’d get checked by the doctor at ringside, leaving Wheeler alone at this point. Harwood was taken to the back, with the injury bug still cutting into the show. Wheeler would keep on fighting, but was fed into Great-O-Khan in the ring.
Cobb would ride him like a surfboard, before Wheeler would almost be made to kiss the boot of Great-O-Khan. Wheeler was forced to tag out to RPG Vice, who would go to work on United Empire. Romero took the Eliminator onto the apron, before Trent nailed the spear.
FTR Has Three Good Arms – But Four Belts!
Back in the ring, a foot stomp and driving knee strike would follow, before Cobb & Khan would get to once again isolate Wheeler. However, a taped up Harwood would stomp his way to the ring, and Wheeler would get the tag. Hot tag would be made, with Harwood uncorking heavy punches and lariats with the good arm.
German Suplexes would land, before looking for a superplex. Trent would aid him in taking down Cobb, but Wheeler made the tag and hit a diving splash for a two count. Great-O-Khan would run wild and tried to take down Wheeler, but Romero got the tag.
He’d hit the mindbreaker with Romero, before the running sliced bread. Trent got the tag, but Cobb would avoid Strong Zero before hitting a powerbomb. Great-O-Khan tossed Trent into a powerbomb from Cobb, but this was somehow just a two count. Harwood would yank Great-O-Khan to the outside, and RPG Vice hit Strong Zero in the ring – with Wheeler making the last minute save!
Harwood would look for a brainbuster in the ring, but Romero blocked into Gedo Clutch. Inside cradle would follow, with Romero keen on getting a sneaky pin. Backslide would be blocked, before Romero hit the rewind kick – before FTR hit Big Rig to WIN! Still ROH World Tag Team Champions, and now IWGP Tag Team Champions!!
