A private investigator hired by Amber Heard to dig up dirt on Johnny Depp to be used against him in court is speaking out for the first time…and he has a whole lot to say!
Heard enlisted the services of Hollywood ‘fixer’ Paul Barresi to spy and pry deep into Depp’s personal life in hopes of finding evidence of him being abusive toward other women from his past. Unfortunately for nobody but Amber Heard, Barresi found nothing of the sort. When he was unable to find anything that would tarnish Depp’s credibility and reputation, Barresi says he was fired by Heard.
Amber Heard Hired A Private Investigator To Dig Up Dirt On Johnny Depp But Found NOTHING About Him Being Abusive, Says ‘Amber Was An Opportunist’
After interviewing over one hundred people who had worked with Depp over the last three decades, the private investigator only found that Depp was oftentimes too generous and considered him an easy target for people to take advantage of him. Not only that, but Baressi suggests that Amber was one of the many people who used Johnny to ‘boost her career’.
“When Amber hired me she wanted proof that Johnny was a serial abuser for women and I couldn’t find that. I couldn’t find another woman who said Johnny abused them,” revealed Baressi. The PI also admitted to interviewing over a dozen people who were financially supported by Depp, who took it upon himself to cover things like medical expenses, house and car payments, as well as the bail and legal fees of people he considers friends.
“Johnny was besieged by people who integrated themselves into his domain. Once they were there, they’d scratch his back with one hand while the other took in the feed. All of the people around him have been on the take for so many years. They feel comfortable with taking things from him. He’s a very passive guy,” Barresi explained.
“Even Amber in some respects was an opportunist on par with everyone else. She obviously knew his power in Hollywood and she seized upon that power in the hopes of furthering her career,” Barresi said.
Although he sympathizes with Johnny Depp’s rough upbringing and his complaisant nature, Barresi holds Depp responsible for the trouble he’s gotten himself into over the years. “The decline and downfall were due to these grifters, these wannabes, these freeloaders that came into Johnny’s life. They would insinuate into Johnny’s life. They would milk him for whatever he was worth – not so much materialistically or monetarily but emotionally.”
