Lynne Spears, Britney Spears’ mother, was outraged at her daughter’s Instagram post in which she appeared to shade her family once again.

Britney just so happened to have recently gotten married to Sam Asghari. And with that in mind, it would have made more sense for her to focus on her marriage going forward rather than dwelling on something that had happened in the past.
While there is no denying that Britney is not going to forget the treatment she had suffered, there has to come a time where she leaves those things behind.
And this was equally hinted at by Lynne, as despite their differences, Lynne did congratulate her daughter in the aftermath of the wedding. And yet, it appears that Britney still has many grievances that she wanted to let her fans know about.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Britney shared a motivational video (which has now been removed) with the words: “And don’t you ever forget how they gave you distance when you needed love.”
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Just saying !!!!” That did not go down very well with Lynne for the following reasons.
First of all, this comment arrived on the back end of Lynne putting out an olive branch by stating how proud she was of her daughter finding happiness.
Secondly, Lynne appears to have reached a point where she is not sure what else she should be doing to try to rectify her wrongs. In response to the post, Lynne wrote the following: “You have got to be kidding me!!”
It is not surprising that Britney’s fans came out on social media in order to defend the singer. In the process of doing so, they did not hold back on their views of Lynne.
One person wrote: “Can you blame her for not inviting her mother to her own wedding her mom was so use to living off of her daughter money.”
