Charlie Sheen has done a u-turn by revealing that he now supports his 18-year-old daughter Sami’s decision to join OnlyFans.
Charlie Sheen Does U-Turn To Support His 18-Year-Old Daughter Sami’s Decision To Join OnlyFans
In the immediate aftermath of the news first breaking, Charlie made it very clear that he did not approve of this decision. So much so that he went on to state that this did not ‘happen under his roof.’
But in the process of doing so, he received some backlash from his ex-wife Denise Richards. Not only did she support Sami, but she also called out Charlie on the basis that he was not in a position to judge.
With that being said, it appears that Sheen has had a change of heart. In an official statement given on behalf of Charlie, a representative said: “Denise has illuminated a variety of salient points, that in my haste, I overlooked and dismissed.
“Now more than ever, it’s essential that Sami have a united parental front to rely upon, as she embarks on this new adventure. From this moment forward, she’ll have it abundantly.”
It is not exactly clear if Charlie was simply agreeing for the sake of avoiding public controversy, or whether he actually agreed with Denise’s points. But in any event, Denise sought to justify it for the following reasons.
First of all, Denise argued that she was not in a position to tell her daughter what to do by virtue of the fact that she had appeared in Playboy.
Secondly, she expanded on how there was not a lot of difference between posting bikini pictures on Instagram and OnlyFans. Despite that united support, the fans on social media did not agree with the pair.
This was on the basis that Sami would ultimately end up being objectified online and could regret the decision at some point in the future.
One person wrote: “As someone the same age as Sami, that’s just not okay and gross. We make mistakes at this age. I hope it’s just bikini pics and stuff, like some people do, if she is really going to do only fans.”
