Prince William and Kate Middleton did not introduce their children to Lilibet during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Fans Blast William And Kate For Failing To Introduce Their Children To Lilibet-‘William & Kate Are Becoming Horrible People’
This claim arrives on the back end of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent visit to the UK for the first time in 2 years.
While it was expected that the duo would be distanced from the Royal family, as indicated by the fact that they were not on the palace balcony, the idea that this tension has to extend to the next generation of Royals is surely out of order.
Although there may be a reason for why this did happen, the very fact of the matter is that it does leave a bitter taste in the mouth. And that is precisely how Royal expert Christopher Andersen saw things.
In an interview with Us Weekly, he said: “William and Kate made no effort at all to introduce Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to [Lili]. As far as I know, nobody believes they spoke [to one another].”
If those comments are taken to be true, then it is very significant for the following reasons. First of all, it clearly indicates that the Royal family has no pressing intention on having a reconciliation of any sort.
And with both sides aggrieved with how they had treated each other in the aftermath of Megxit, it shows that blood is not always thicker than water.
Secondly, there is also a high possibility that Archie and Lilibet will follow in the same footsteps as Harry and William, as they will not be mingling with the latter’s kids. And for two brothers who were known for being very close, that is a shame indeed.
The response on social media was much the same. A certain subset of fans lamented the fact that the relations had deteriorated so much. Meanwhile, others blasted William and Kate for being out of order.
