Police in Bonn, Germany arrested a homeless man on June 28, 2022 following calls of a severed human head in front of the town’s courthouse. An investigation revealed that the arrested man and the deceased knew each other prior to the murder.
German Police Arrest Homeless Man After Discovering a Severed Human in Front of the Bonn Courthouse
They suspect in custody has been described a 38-year-old man who is part of the local homeless community, where he knew true victim. In speaking with BILD, authorities said “The man then just sat there a few meters from his head. He allowed himself to be arrested without resistance.”
Police also spoke with The Independent and said that authorities were alerted of the scene at around 5:35 PM. The head was covered up from the publics police did forensic work. Police were also seen on the riverbank of the Rhine where the rest of the body was discovered.
A motive hasn’t been released in the murder although authorities say that the suspect is known to them for previous drug-related crimes. Expect updates should more on this extreme and random act violence as more is revealed by authorities.
