Tomorrow evening, we get the second PPV of the year from WWE’s NXT 2.0 brand. In Your House is back, and the card has shaped up to something comparable to the NXT Takeovers of old. In the main event of the show, we will see the second clash between challenger Joe Gacy and NXT Champion Bron Breakker. Joe Gacy has also told fans to expect something different here tonight.
Joe Gacy Thinks Fans Won’t Know What To Expect
While speaking with Denise Salcedo, Joe Gacy would have a chance to hype up his upcoming main event clash with Breakker. When asked about what fans can expect from this match, Gacy had the following to say.
“Easy answer would be that you can’t really expect anything. You don’t really know what’s gonna happen, but what I will say is you’re probably gonna see something very, very different.”
As for the reactions Gacy has been getting for his character in NXT 2.0, he would explain that he feels that he absolutely loving the backlash he gets on platforms like Twitter. Gacy would be quoted saying the following.
“I love it. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Whether you want to cheer me or boo me, I love every moment of it. Just being able to be here and do what I am doing is crazy. The last two years have been crazy, but good crazy. So to be able to get any kind of reaction out of the WWE Universe has been great for me, whether it’s good or bad.”
Most Fans Are Not Expecting A Title Change
When it comes to this match, it’s expected that despite the efforts of Gacy, he will not be able to defeat Breakker tomorrow evening. While we got an unexpected title change earlier this year when Dolph Ziggler defeated Breakker, it’s expected the second reign of the rising star will be a more lengthy one.
This program set up Gacy’s career in WWE to come, with him likely being a top heel figure for the bulk of his career. He doesn’t need the NXT Championship to prove this, as just hanging at the top level in a multi-month program over the NXT Championship got him great exposure.
