Meghan Markle is reportedly not keen on making a visit for Prince William’s 40th summer birthday bash that is set to be hosted by Queen Elizabeth II.
Meghan Has No Plans On Attending Prince William’s 40th Birthday Summer Bash By Celebrating With ‘Someone That Clearly Has Got Issues With Her’
That is according to Royal expert Neil Sean. According to reports, Kate Middleton has already taken steps to ensure that Prince Harry will attend by reaching out. While that may be the case, it appears that Meghan is reluctant to attend.
And based on her last visit to the UK during the monarch’s Jubilee, who could blame her. After all, Prince William and Kate had turned down Meghan’s birthday invite for her daughter Lilibet.
Therefore, Meghan is hardly going to offer something that she had not received. And yet, Harry’s willingness to attend could create some friction.
In his comments, Neil said: “It does appear that there’s a bit of, shall we say friction, between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
“And as ever we say allegedly because he would be keen to return for his brother’s 40th birthday.Meghan Markle is not keen at all, to go back into a room.”
This does beg the question: Would Harry make a solo visit? Well, this would depend on how he feels towards William.
The latter did not exactly give him a good welcome during his time at the ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ held at St. Paul’s Cathedral with reports indicating that William refused to make eye contact with his brother.
Not only that, but by Harry attending alone, this could inadvertently create more controversy due to Meghan’s noticeable absence. However, it appears that Meghan is not willing to compromise.
Neil’s following comments confirmed as much: “[She is not keen] to go back into a room…to spend an evening, afternoon, day whatever, that might be celebrating someone that clearly has got issues with her, and likewise, visa versa.”
Time will tell how it all turns out. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
