It has been over two years since “The Fab Four” completed a joint engagement together. Prince William and Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, popularly dubbed “The Fab Four,” have not been seen together at any royal event since the Sussexes resigned as active royals in 2020.
Despite the fact that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been away, the couple are reportedly still not on talking terms with the Cambridges. According to previous media reports, tensions started to rise between the two families about the time of Meghan’s wedding to Harry in 2018. The couple even failed to settle their differences when Harry and Meghan landed in the UK for the platinum celebrations.
Prince William And Kate Middleton Set To Visit America As Tensions Between Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Grow
Meanwhile, media reports have suggested that the Cambridges may be in the US anytime soon for an event. Prince William and Kate Middleton are expected in the US for the Earthshot Prize ceremony in October 2022. The Earthshot Prize, an initiative of the Duke of Cambridge, rewards ground-breaking solutions to the climate change crisis. It will be the first time the Cambridges will visit the US since the Sussexes relocated there in 2020.
William and Kate’s anticipated trip to the US comes at a time where tension between William and Harry is reportedly at its peak. The two brothers were not even seen together throughout the platinum festivities. Moreover, the Cambridges failed to attend the birthday party of Lilibet, who turned one on June 4th, 2022.
However, the royal couple understandably skipped the party because they had official engagements to perform at the same time. For now, no one knows if William will meet his little brother Harry when he touches down in the US.
