Two Travis Scott fans have gotten some cool memorabilia from Cactus Jack himself: his sneakers. Oh, and these aren’t just shoes that the “Pick Up the Phone” just handed off, these were the kicks off his feet.
Travis Scott Gifts 2 Fans the Jordan 1s Off His Feet Before Driving Off
The two were part of a crowd of fans waiting for Travis outside of TAO for pictures and/or autographs. Nothing out of the ordinary. The Houston artist decided to at least greet his fans by rolling down the window of his car and handing off a pair of his Jordan 1s.
Afterward, he would speed off into the Los Angeles night but the LA News Connection YouTube channel caught the scene on video:
It had to be an awesome moment for those two and will definitely give them a story to tell over and over again. If you’re asking what happened to the other kid in the video who got one of the shoes, he probably dipped off to put it away or show someone else.
After all, that’s a pricey, valuable gift to just have in your hands on the streets at night. No one wants to get got after receiving a gift, right? I don’t reckon they’re going to have joint custody on Travis Scott’s worn Jordan 1s.
Following the push to cancel Travis Scott, brands began dropping him or putting their projects with him on pause while the artist dealt with it. With a drought of anything new related to the “Wake Up” rapper until May 2022, it shows that he hadn’t been totally abandoned and still has a lot of marketing juice left.
His recently released Air Trainer 1s had over one million fans join a raffle for them in under 30 minutes.
