Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
Tonight should be a fun one with John Cena returning to celebrate his 20th anniversary.
We’ll be back at the 8 p.m. EST to get WWE Raw Live Results moving, so grab plenty of snacks.
Segment 1
Money in the Bank Qualifying Last Chance Battle Royal
They emptied both main rosters for this, and the eliminations came fast and furious, with T-Bar throwing Reggie out with a press slam as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
The numbers kept dwindling as Ricochet saved himself by landing on a ladder at ringside, then leapt back to eliminate T-Bar with a hurricanrana on the apron as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
The Miz faked a knee injury and eliminated Styles before Riddle hit him with an RKO on the apron to eliminate the Miz and get into the MITB match.
Segment 4
Jey Uso w/Jimmy Uso vs. Montez Ford w/Angelo Dawkins
They traded holds early on, but after Ford sent Jey to the floor, Jey slammed him onto the apron and then threw Ford into the ring steps as we headed to commercial.
Segment 5
A great John Cena video package showed him throughout his career, his support of Make a Wish, the Military, and then his movie career.
The Miz hinted Logan Paul will rejoin him at SummerSlam, and Styles came out and slugged him. We’re guessing that means a match between them is next.
Segment 6
The Miz vs. AJ Styles
This started out with Styles on fire, but Miz took over and threw Styles into the ring steps as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
This was a great back and forth with several close endings, and the Miz slipped out of the ring to avoid a Phenomenal Forearm and casually walked up the ramp to take a count out loss.
Segment 8
Belair and Carmella exchanged words with Belair sending her to the floor when Carmella tried to attack her.
Segment 9
Liv Morgan vs. Alexa Bliss
This was a fun match that relied more on holds and counters than anything, and Morgan rolled through Alexa’s finisher for the pin.
Segment 10
John Cena gave a great speech where he thanked the fans for allowing him to be in the ring and teaching him humility. As he left, he gave fans his wrist bands, hat, and shirt.
Segment 11
Bobby Lashley vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis) w/Theory as special guest enforcer
Theory distracted Lashley early, and Lashley chased him around the ring and into an ambush by Gable and Otis as we headed to commercial.
Segment 12
This was a decent match Lashley powered through by dropping Otis from an Electric Chair, and making Gable tap out to the Hurt Lock. Theory attacked him after the match, and Lashley fought all three off and Theory took off.
Segment 13
Cody Rhodes gave an interview and talked about the collection of talent in MITB, and how he’ll be the first to congratulate Seth Rollins if he wins.
Segment 14
Money in the Bank Last Chance Qualifying Elimination Match – Becky Lynch vs. Doudrop vs. Nikki ASH vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Tamina vs. Xi Li
The action started fast and furious, and Lynch eliminated Li by pin after a Man Handle Slam, and then forced Nikki to tap out to a Dis-Arm-Her as we headed to commercial.
Segment 15
This was a fun match Lynch eventually won after hitting a Man Handle Slam on Doudrop off the middle rope. It looks more like Doudrop went for a Flatliner, but it worked and Lynch is going to MITB.
This was a rough show as the fans were as quiet as the empty arenas during the early days of the pandemic until Cena’s speech when they came alive.
