Back in July 2021, President Biden was so sure that the vaccines work that he even claimed that the pandemic is over and that you cannot get infected once you get your vaccine. Now, after exactly one year, he tests positive for the virus. Regardless of receiving a vaccination and a booster doses later in the year.
Back when the pandemic was roaring and spreading like wildfire, people were in despair to find something that would save them from it. Hence, the world introduces vaccinations. They are advertising vaccines as something that will immediately stop the spreading of the virus. However, that is not the case.
Joe Biden Says Vaccinated People Won’t Catch COVID 19 – Gets Infected But Is Vaccinated And Boosted Twice
“You’re OK.” – Biden says. “You’re not going to — you’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.”
Joe Biden, who is 79 years old has been exercising caution when it comes to getting the virus. He is keeping a social distance wherever he goes, he is testing himself and his closest circle of people on regular basis and receives vaccination including boosters regularly. He received his second booster of the vaccine in March 2022.
You don’t need to worry. The President currently experiences very mild symptoms and is completely feeling well. However, while he has the virus, he will isolate in the White House. According to protocol, he will continue his work behind closed doors. From the White House, they state that all the planned meetings and speeches will not be postponed, but will be held over Zoom, or other online applications.
Thankfully, his wife, the First Lady Jill Biden is negative to the infection.
“He’s feeling good. I tested negative this morning. I’m going to keep my schedule. According to CDC guidelines, I’m keeping masked.” – she says for the BBC.
At the moment the President doesn’t know exactly he got the virus. Recently, on July 20, President Biden held a speech regarding climate change in Massachusetts. He continues to hold another speech regarding gun control and gun violence in Pennsylvania later on the same day. Last week, however, he traveled abroad to Israel and Saudi Arabia where he met with various people and officials.
Having a tight schedule like this, and having to meet so many people over this short period makes it more difficult to determine exactly when and where he got the infection.
In addition to this, during the last year, there were many people in the White House that got the virus. All of them with full vaccination card and boosters. Take for example Vice President Kamala Harris, her husband Doug Emhoff, and etc.
