When Thunder Rosa took a trip to Japan and stepped up to TJPW acwe Miyu Yamashita, she ended up the one on the losing end. She would promise Yamashita before the match that if she should win, she’d get a chance to become AEW Women’s World Champion at a later night. That shot comes tonight, with Yamashita making her AEW Dynamite debut at Fight For The Fallen. Thunder Rosa had time to prepare better for The Pink Striker, and tonight will look to redeem one of her few 2022 losses.

Thunder Rosa Defeats Miyu Yamashita To Remain AEW Women’s World Champion

Yamashita would grab a wrist lock to start this match, before Rosa would try to grapple her way free. Headlock would be applied, but Yamashita broke free, before being thrown with an arm drag – and getting one of his own. We’d get a stalemate, before Rosa went for the Dustin Rhodes style uppercut and was blocked.

Yamashita would send Rosa to the apron, before being caught in the ropes and drug out to the floor. Rosa would nail the big dropkick, before some chops.
Yamashita would bounce off the apron with a kick, levelling the champion. Rosa would take a kick to the stomach, before sitting and waiting for the spinning wheel kick.

Rosa would fight back with the knee strike in the corner, before a dropkick on the ropes. Yamashita would kick Rosa in the head while she was on the top rope, before the wheelbarrow German Suplex for a two count. Rosa took the springboard kick before the Skull Kick – with Yamashita being too close to the ropes.

Rosa would counter a driver into a roll up, but Yamashita would shift the weight and almost get the win. A series of kicks would land, before Rosa would hit the Fire Thunder Driver for the win.

Daniel Garica Wants To End The Career Of Danieslon

Bryan Danielson has been out of action since Double or Nothing 2022, and that time away forced him to miss Forbidden Door. However tonight he’s back in the ring, and will be taking on a rising star in AEW with Daniel Garcia. They previously met in AEW on the way to forming Blackpool Combat Club, with Garcia instead being brought into the Jericho Appreciation Society. Since that last match, Garcia has levelled up in the ring – and tonight we get to see that progress first hand.

Danielson would hit the ring and go right for the dropkick, before the mid-kicks in the corner. Garcia would gain his footing, just to be thrown to the outside for the suicide dive. Back in the ring, Garcia would go after the neck of Danielson – but this one would float back to the outside. Garcia would be driven into a steel chair, before taking a dropkick to the side of the head.

Garcia would gain control in the ring, hitting some elbow strikes to the head – before looking for a DDT on the floor. He’d even pull up the padding, dropping Danielson right on concrete! The doctor would check out Danielson, before Garcia shoved the doctor away and stomped on the bloody head of Danielson.

Bryan Danielson Passes Out From The Pain

Garcia would wear the blood of Danielson on his chest, as he got a long chance to recover. Danielson would take a headbutt, before getting stomped out. Garcia would keep the pressure on in the corner, before taking Danielson up top.

Danielson would slip out from behind, and would set up the Super Backdrop.
Some whiplash would affect Danielson, but the madman would get to his feet and keep on fighting. The mid kick assault would be followed by the Buzzsaw Kick – but Garcia grabbed a rear naked choke. Danielson would block out into the Cattle Mutalation, before moving into the Tiger Suplex.

Hammer & Anvil elbows would be turned around on Danielson, but he’d weather the storm and drop the hammer on Garcia before the Regalplex for a two count. Garcia went into the corner but blocked the knee with a strike of his own before the Scorpion Deathlock was blocked into a roll up.

Danielson would trade strikes with Garcia before the running knee – but Garcia got the ropes before the LeBell Lock would be applied. Diving knee of the apron would follow, before someone would grab the ankle of Danielson from under the ring. Piledriver would land, and Scorpion Deathlock would be laid in.

Danielson wouldn’t tap out, he’d pass out to the assault of Red Death. Jake Hager was the one who made the assist, but a win is a win. Will Bryan
