The British public have demanded that the Royal family publish the inquiry looking into allegations of Meghan Markle bullying members of Royal staff.
British Public Demand Meghan Markle’s Bullying Inquiry Be Published-‘Without A Shadow Of A Doubt It Should Be Made Public’
Buckingham Palace has so far refused to publish the findings on the basis that they do not want to compromise the identity of those involved and keep things private.
In an official statement at the time, a representative said: “Because of the confidentiality of the discussions we have not communicated the detailed recommendations.”
While that may be the case, this decision has not gone down very well. Meghan has reportedly objected to the decision and even went so far as stating that it was disappointing. Meanwhile, the public has also come to the same conclusion.
This has been based on two grounds. First of all, the publishing of the inquiry would have removed all doubt. Therefore, the failure to do so will always leave question marks over who had culpability.
Secondly, it sets a dangerous precedent that major scandals will ultimately be covered up in order to save face. In a recent poll conducted by the Express, several readers demanded that the findings be published.
One person said: “When this investigation started, it was intimated that we would see the results. It affected the whole country,” while another person stated: “Without a shadow of a doubt it should be made public.”
If the findings do not end up being published, then the Royal family does risk facing further backlash from Meghan and Prince Harry.
The pair were recently pictured pulling up to Oprah Winfrey’s house once again, as fears grew that another tell-all interview could emerge.
Not only that, but other reports indicate that Meghan is mulling with the idea of releasing a tell-all book. If either of these things end up happening, then the Royal family will have nobody to blame but themselves.
We will have to see how this will all play out going forward. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
