Prince Harry’s relationship with Cressida Bonas had reportedly ended because of Kate Middleton.
Kate Middleton Blamed For ‘Ending’ Harry’s Relationship With Blonde Beauty Cressida Bonas-‘She Was Said To Have Been Completely Spooked’
That is according to royal author Robert Lacey in his book entitled, ‘Battle of Brothers about Princes William and Harry.’ Harry and Cressida had come across each other after having been introduced by Prince Andrew’s daughter Princess Eugenie.
During the course of that process, they had been together for around two years before they decided to split up in 2014. It is alleged that Cressida had witnessed the attention that Kate Middleton had been getting on her Australian tour, and that is something that she did not want to be a part of.
In his book, Robert wrote: “In 2014, she was said to have been ‘completely spooked’ after watching the TV coverage of William and Kate touring New Zealand with baby George in tow – that was not the way she would want to enjoy her eight-month-old son, she regretfully explained to Harry.”
This appears to be in line with Harry’s decision to leave the Royal family in 2020 with Meghan Markle. The pair admitted in their Oprah Winfrey interview that the press intrusion had played a part in their decision.
After all, Meghan admitted that she was driven to having suicidal thoughts. And given that Meghan, like Cressida was an actress, they understood the attention that came with being a royal.
Tom’s following comments confirmed as much: “A rising actress, Cressida did not enjoy the critical remarks that she could hear people making behind her back when she walked down the street in London – she felt that the fame of her relationship put her “in a box.”
In reality, both Harry and Cressida have moved on since then. The former has gotten with Meghan, while the latter is with Harry Wentworth-Stanley.
And as long as they are happy, then that is the most important thing. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
