At an age of 56, the Baddest man on the planet seems to still got it. He regularly participates in sparing sessions and trains with the same intensity as he trained back in his prime days.
Mike Tyson went through good, bad, and worse in his life. From drugs and sex addiction to prison time and big money earned and spent fast. However, he is still not giving up and is full of life.
The former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is in shape regardless of the situation that he is put in. After his exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. back in 2020, he hasn’t stopped training.
Mike Tyson Almost Knocks Out His Trainer Rafael Cordeiro AGAIN
Furthermore, he states that it is in his near future plans to be back in the ring. He is planning to fight again. And he already accomplished much. The body transformation that he did is astonishing. Given his age, the fact that he is in the 6th decade of his life and he looks totally fit is incredible by itself.
At the moment he trains under the guidance of the legendary MMA trainer Rafael Cordeiro.
During these long sparring sessions, getting hit in an unprotected area is not an exclusion. It already happened once that Tyson delivered a blow to Cordeiro’s lip and tore it apart.
Now, after several weeks Cordeiro has posted a new video of him and the boxing legend sparring. Unpurposely, Tyson again delivered a powerful left hook to the body and a frightening right uppercut to Cordeiro’s jaw.
Even though this is only a ‘light’ sparring session, it is evident that the blows that Mike delivers to his trainer are taking a toll on him. He grunts and is in obvious pain with each direct blow.
At the moment it is still unclear whether the boxing legend prepares for a match. There have been rumors stating that he will take part in a fight in the following period, however, details are not shared or confirmed by Tyson.
Rumors state that there is a possibility of a match in the near future against Jake Paul. The speculations arise due to various conversations with both, Tyson and Paul. However, the news about it is hot and cold. While one of them claims that there might be a match the other one dismisses all. And the other way around.
A match against Jake Paul is not as exciting as a match against Evander Holyfield would be. So maybe they should think about matching them up once more after almost 30 years.
Would you like to see Tyson in the ring once more? Who would you match him with?
