Tama Tonga was booted from BULLET CLUB by leader Jay White, and while they meet in singles action during the final night of G1 Climax action – they meet in tag team action tonight first. Jado is by the side of Tama, while White has brought Chase Owens – who Tama meets on Wednesday in his first tournament match.
Jay White & Chase Owens Focus On Jado While Avoiding Tama Tonga
After some BULLET CLUB pre-match planning, and a quick Too-Sweet, Owens would start the match alongside Tama… and fled the ring quickly. Owens would get in when he saw an opening, only to be tossed about with deep arm drags, before Tama was rolled up for a two count.
Tama would hit the dropkick, before tagging in Jado – and taking down Owens with a neckbreaker to hand the pin to Jado. Owens kicked out, before White came into the ring for a cheap shot on Jado. White would stomp away at the leg of Jado, as Owens hit the ring for a kneebreaker.
Jado would continue to be punished in the ring, before Owens hit a backbreaker. Jado would fire up, and threw all his power into a shoulder tackle. Tama got into the ring, and was able to get his hands on White briefly before taking a C-Trigger. Jado hit the Green Killer, but Owens kicked out and his C-Trigger for the win.
Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kazuchika Okada Form The NJPW Dream Team
Whenever Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kazuchika Okada team up, it’s a big match – and tonight adding in Hirooki Goto makes a legendary trio to take on three members of Los Ingobernables De Japon. Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI & SANADA are all here to fight tonight – and SANADA would love a win after falling to Jay White last night.
Naito & Goto wouldstart things up, with Naito going after the right arm of Goto. He’d move into the wrist lock, before ducking the lariat and hitting the signature pose. SANADA & Okada hit the ring, and Okada would have to fight off the Paradise Lock. BUSHI got the tag, as Naito chucked Goto into the barricade.
Okada would hit the flapjack on BUSHI, before Tanahashi hit the scoop slam and sommersault senton for a two count. Naito was caught going for the flying forearm, and Goto hit the Ushigorishi. BUSHI took a slingblade and High Fly Flow – ending this match.
Can Tanahashi bounce back from his loss to Henare to win another G1 Climax? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
