Young Lions are often thrown to the wolves to kick off shows, and tonight Ryohei Oiwa and a returning Yuto Nakashima will have to see if they can survive House of Torture. SHO & Yujiro Takahashi will be in this match, with EVIL kicking off his tournament later tonight against KENTA.
House Of Tortue Claim Rare Clean Victory

Tomohiro Ishii & JONAH Trade Blows In Korakuen Hall
JONAH would learn that it’s not wise to overlook someone like Toru Yano, after he was counted out – starting off his G1 Climax without a loss. Tonight, he has a chance to get some revenge as he brings Bad Dude Tito into a fight against former IWGP Tag Team Champions, Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii. JONAH previously met Ishii in an Impact Wrestling ring – one of the best matches to happen in North America this year.
Yano would apologise to start, before being clubbed down to the mat. JONAH kept Yano in the ring, as Tito chipped away at Ishii on the floor. Yano managed an eye rake before being crushed with a body block. Tito would kick away at Yano next, before choking him with the boot. A floating senton over the ropes would follow, before a double shoulder tackle in the middle of the ring.
Yano managed the tag to Ishii, and JONAH would absorb some running shoulder tackles before striking back. Ishii would look for the suplex, but JONAH would fight off the attempt with a DDT. JONAH would be launched with a German Suplex, but Ishii would be taken down with the lariat.
Tito would hit the ring, and Ishii would catch him with the suplex. Yano would hit the Manhattan Drop, before being tossed into the exposed corner. JONAH & Tito would set up a Blue Thunder Bomb – but Ishii made the save. Ishii & JONAH brawled on the outside, Yano got help with a lariat setting up a roll up finish.
Never Leave Jado Alone With United Empire
Hirooki Goto was able to kick off his tournament in a big way by breaking a losing streak against Tetsuya Naito. Tonight, with Jado & Tama Tonga in his corner – he will get a chance to test the waters against Aaron Henare, who sits at a 1-1 record in his current tournament, and teams with Jeff Cobb & Will Ospreay for this match.
Tama & Ospreay would start this match, two men known for their speed. Headlock would be applied by Tama, before Ospreay would slip free and was caught with a sloppy dropkick. Goto would get the tag and started to work on the arm of Ospreay, and Tama would follow suit with a double axe handle.
Ospreay would pick up speed with the hurricanrana, before the United Empire would clean up the competition. Cobb shoved Tama into the barricade, before Ospreay hit some measured strikes back in the ring. Tama would fire back with some strikes, before Cobb got the tag and overwhelmed him.
A dropkick would get Tama free, before Goto got the tag alongside Henare. They’d trade forearm smashes in the middle of the ring, before Goto hit the spinning wheel kick into the bulldog for a two count. Jado would get the tag, and some help from Tama & Goto in getting a two count.
Green Killer was set, but, Cobb would make the save. Henare would block the OJK Crossface into Berzerker Bomb – before some heavy punches. Ultima would be applied, and this one was over.
