Prince Harry had allegedly told his brother Prince William that Kate Middleton could treat his wife Meghan Markle better and be ‘friendlier.’
Harry Informed William To Tell Kate To Treat Meghan Better-‘William’s Reply Was Not Sympathetic’
That is according to Royal author Tom Bower in his book entitled ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors.’ The relationship between Meghan and Kate soured with conflicting accounts concerning an argument over bridesmaids dresses.
Tom’s account alleges that Meghan was the one who had made Kate cry over a dispute about the dress that Princess Charlotte should have worn.
Meanwhile, Meghan’s account was anything but that as the Duchess of Sussex was outraged that she was accused of doing something that she had become a victim of.
With that being said, it was clear that things between Meghan and Kate were not so rosy, which is why Harry required an intervention.
In his book, Tom wrote: “Members of their family, said Harry, were not showing her sufficient support, respect and friendship. Meghan, Harry believed, should be just as appreciated as their mother.
“William’s reply was not sympathetic. Beyond the palaces, few were aware of the split between the brothers.” If those comments are taken to be true, then it is very significant for the following reasons.
First of all, Harry and Meghan’s recent return to the UK for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee showed a Middleton that was far from friendly.
In fact, she and Prince Charles were heavily criticised the latter blew a kiss towards Kate during the ‘Service of Thanksgiving,’ right in front of Harry and Meghan.
A certain subset interpreted this as a sign of disrespect, as it had isolated the couple. After all, the relations between them and the royals were not in a good place.
In reality, the only way for all sides to patch up is to move on. But based on what we have seen so far, there are many things yet to be resolved. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
