Prince Harry Would Not Have Married Meghan Markle Had Diana Been Alive-‘Harry Wouldn’t Have Been In The State He Was In’
That is according to a former aid of Queen Elizabeth II Dickie Arbiter. Dickie’s comments centre around the fact that Harry may have acted with a different mindset had his mother been alive.
After all, it is no secret that Diana’s death had impacted Harry a lot. That is why Dickie believed a royal exit in 2020 would not have otherwise materialised. In his comments, he said: “She was very practical and he was very sensible.
“I’m going to stick my neck out here and I doubt Harry would have married Mehgan because Harry wouldn’t have been in the state he was in as a result of his mother’s death.”
Nevertheless, these comments have to be taken with a pinch of salt. First of all, Diana had become dissatisfied with royal life, especially since her husband Prince Charles had been unfaithful.
And by that act, it demonstrated that Diana would have cut ties if she was not happy, just like Harry. Secondly, with Diana no longer being alive, it is merely speculation as who knows what she would have thought.
And this was the sentiment being expressed on social media. A certain subset of people began to mock Dickie for his comments for being irrelevant.
One person wrote: “I can only guess the Queen’s former Press Secretary Dickie Arbiter held a seance and asked Princess Diana if she thought Prince Harry would have married Meghan Markle if she was still alive.
“And I can only guess Diana said no he wouldn’t have married her.” As long as Harry is happy, then who are we to question otherwise. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward.
After all, he has become a family man with two children. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
