Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have been praised for keeping things cordial between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the Royal family.
Beatrice And Eugenie Praised For Looking After Harry And Meghan Amid William And Kate’s Distance-‘It Is Perhaps A Relief’
That is according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams. It is no secret that the Royal family were very distant from Harry and Meghan upon their return for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
Reports indicated that Harry’s own brother Prince William refused to make eye contact with him during the ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ at St Paul’s Cathedral.
So the fact that Beatrice and Eugenie were on hand to make the couple feel reassured was crucial. In his comments, Richard said: “I suspect the York sisters’ good relations with Harry and Meghan are very beneficial to the monarchy.
“It is perhaps a relief that we don’t know any details, but the healing of rifts is best done quietly.” This close bond was most notably seen when Eugenie decided to visit Harry last year, as they were both present during the Super Bowl.
And at a time where Harry has become increasingly ostracised from his family, this was a very welcome visit. Not only that, but Harry and Meghan were pretty close to Beatrice and Eugenie at the Jubilee.
In the picture here, we can see Harry, Meghan, Beatrice and Eugenie appearing to share a joke of some form, as they get ready for the seating at the ‘Service of Thanksgiving.’
Just as all of those are very close, it appears that the same cannot be said for their relations with Kate Middleton.
Reports indicated that there may have been a feud between Eugenie and Kate, as the former shared a photo of the Jubilee from the balcony, which quite noticeably had Kate cropped out of the picture.
While it is not clear if this was just coincidental, it does demonstrate that perhaps relations with Middleton are not as strong in comparison with Harry and Meghan. So there you have it folks.
