The Royal family has been condemned for its failure to release the findings of an inquiry looking into allegations that Meghan Markle had bullied members of royal staff.
Activist Dr Shola Condemns Royal Family’s Failure To Publish Meghan Markle’s Bullying Inquiry-‘Claims Against Meghan Markle Are False, Royal Family Would Do NOTHING To Protect Her’
The Duchess of Sussex immediately denied doing such a thing from the outset, but Buckingham Palace refused to publish the findings to remove all doubt on the basis that it does not want to compromise the privacy of those involved.
Although that may have been the case, the very fact of the matter is that some circles have taken this to mean the Royals have something to hide. And given an issue such as this, the findings would have allowed all sides involved to put things behind them.
Activist Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu hit out at the palace with her following comments: “Clearly the bully claims against Meghan Markle are false because the Royal Family would do NOTHING to protect her.
“The bullying inquiry most likely incriminates the Royal Family which is why it’s being buried.”
Ultimately, the results of the findings whether they are published or not could prove critical in how Harry and Meghan decide to proceed forward when it comes to their approach with the Royal family.
Harry’s tell-all memoir and the couple’s Netflix docuseries are some of the things that they have in the pipeline. With that being said, these two avenues would give them the perfect opportunity to address any grievances which they felt were being buried.
The response on social media was very mixed. A certain subset of people were of the view that this was standard procedure. Meanwhile, others began to suggest that perhaps Prince William had an influence on whether the findings should come out.
One person wrote: “It’s confidential. No one will see it, probably not even the complainants. That is standard HR and business practice,” while another person stated: “Must be Will and Papa Charlie.”
