Another day – another unusual and unorthodox thing surrounding the UFC promotion and the UFC’s president Dana White. This time, he puts himself in the spotlight by showing respect and gifting a little bit unordinary gift to one of his friends.
As expected this did not go well with his fellow fighters. It didn’t go well with the people fighting for better fighter pay in the promotion as well. But who has time to think about what will the fighters say, Dana is busy enjoying his life and making his friends and family happy. At last, he is worth half a billion, he can do whatever he wants.
Seems like at last, Dana White is an ‘uncle’ that we all wish we had in the family. Even better, an uncle that we wish we had at our birthday parties.

Well, the Nelk Boys can say that they do have this. They have uncle Dana and they are receiving these unbelievable gifts from him. Most recently, on July 12th Dana gifted one of the Nelk Boys, Kyle Forgeard, $250 000 in a bag.
Dana White got to like the Nelk Boys after he met them together with his kids. His children went crazy when they saw them and that brought Dana’s attention. He asked himself ‘who are these guys?’, and as they met, he happens to like them a lot and since then, they end up helping him and being his friends in private life.
In a video that Kyle posted on Twitter, you can see him unwrapping a gift in front of him, and in the corner of the screen you can see Dana White with a grin on his face. As he opens the gift, he pulls up a plastic bag from inside the box, fulfilled with a quarter of a million dollars.
This creates a whirlwind of re-tweets and comments on the video. Many of them are positive and praise Dana for such a generous gift, however, much more are just slamming him for the fighter’s pay.
Louis Smolka is one of the fighters that left the UFC promotion just several months ago, all because the insufficient payment he was getting from them. He shared Kyle’s ‘gift video’ and asked, ‘when we starting the union bois?’.
Another loud mouth that is requesting higher fighters pay is the YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul. He didn’t remain silent to this as well.
“It’s embarrassing and it shows just how much of a scumbag Dana White is. How could you do that to your fighter? You’re giving a birthday gift to someone but your own flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo. You can’t pay him enough and there’s no healthcare for his fighters.” – Paul says. “People are really starting to see how greedy this guy is. People are really starting to see that these fighters are underpaid. There’s got to be some change made here and the more we talk about it, the more we raise awareness. The more we fight back, the more pressure they’re going to be under to pay their fighters more.”
“But it sucks, I feel bad for the flyweight champion. Dana White, if you’re listening to this, bro, you really need to re-evaluate yourself. Take a hard look in the mirror.” – Jake Paul finishes his statement.
