The WWE has a storied past, but not everyone is included in it for various reasons.
The most prolific is their erasure of Chris Benoit following his murder of his family and then suicide, though there’s an argument that his in ring work should stand separately like it does in other sports.
While Benoit is a permanent ban, others have been temporary, like Hulk Hogan and now Ric Flair as Flair’s “WHOO!” was added back into the WWE’s opening sequence for Raw and Smackdown.
Now it looks like Sasha Banks is joining the crowd as a youtube video for the “Top 10” Paige moment was edited to not show her and a close up of Mickie James instead from Paige’s return in 2017.
Banks is also not allowed to be mentioned apparently, as Bianca Belair gave an interview where she talked about WrestleMania and she stuttered when she was about to say Banks’ name.
Unfortunately, Banks’ fans have reportedly given her a lot of grief about not saying her name, but Belair has a job and doing what she’s told is part of it.
No reconciliation in sight
here’s the original angle. first they don’t let bianca say her NAME and now this pls 😭 pic.twitter.com/x8RQY09B27

If anything, this gives the impression that the WWE and Banks coming to a deal to keep her around won’t happen any time soon, and there have been numerous reports that Banks’ lawyers are working with the WWE to get her released.
Other options
Banks was removed from WWE’s internal roster this past week, according to PWInsider, but she’s still on their website, WWE.com, and that’s being attributed to her remaining under contract.
There have been plenty of speculation from fans about what’s next for Sasha Banks, with most divided on wanting to see her in AEW or even Hollywood.
She’s got her foot in the door in Hollywood, so to speak, and they’re always on the lookout for talented charismatic people for movies, shows, etc and she’d fit the bill perfectly.
Banks has loads of talent and there’s no reason not to think she can’t quickly establish herself as a star and even a powerhouse in Hollywood.
Of course, as wrestling fans we’d like to see her in the ring again and AEW does make sense for her even if they have a bloated roster.
She could even open her own wrestling school at some point.
We wish her the best in whatever path she chooses since it appears it’s not going to involve the WWE for much longer. But then you never know. Never say never.
