No one ever expected Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen to become NXT UK Tag Team Champions, being as American as it gets. However, they won a Fatal Four Way elimination match to become champions, and tonight make their first defense. Former Champions in Pretty Deadly view this as a major show of disrespect – and tonight intend to reclaim the belts that got them noticed in WWE.

Pretty Deadly Take The Fight To Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen

Jensen would kick things off with Prince, and drove him into the corner with some lariats. Back body drop would send him flying, before Wilson would help him out of a suplex. Pretty Deadly would take some punches to the face, before Briggs got the tag. They’d send Pretty Deadly onto the ropes, before sliding out of the ring with some more punches to the face.

Prince would grab a sleeper hold on Briggs, and was driven into the corner before coming off the ropes with a crossbody – and being caught into a powerslam. Wilson got the tag, before Briggs threw Prince from the ring and right into Fallon Henley at ringside. Jensen would go to check on her, as we went to a commercial break.

Back to action, Jensen would catch Wilson in the ring with a spinning wheel kick – before Prince got the tag. Pretty Deadly worked together to hit an armbreaker, before some headlock punches and stomping. A headlock from Prince would be broken with a jaw breaker, but Jensen couldn’t fight free of the Pretty Deadly corner.

Jensen kept on fighting, and would be able to tag in Briggs. He’d throw his weight around, nailing a big boot, sidewalk slam and jumping splash. Lariat would miss, and Wilson cut him down with a crossbody. Prince would arm Wilson with the tag belt, before sliding the other to Briggs.

The referee would take the belt of Briggs away, but Fallon would stop Wilson from using his to crack the skull of Briggs. High low clothesline from Briggs & Jensen would land, and that’s a successful defence.

    The Dyad Reveal Themselves

Joe Gacy & The Dyad have been able to cause some chaos in NXT 2.0 in recent months, and have taken the name Scism. Tonight, The Dyad will shed their robes – and reveal their identities to the world, after months of being veiled in mystery.

They tore down their egos, and built themselves up as pillars of acceptance. Gacy said it was time to emerge, and said there is no going back. The final step up purification would commence, as the former Grizzled Young Veterans are now Jager Reed and Rip Fowler. The past will stay behind them, and they are only the first to be unshackled.

Will The Dyad recapture tag team success with this new path? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
