Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
Tonight looks like it’s going to be a good one as we make our last stop before Money in the Bank, and we’ll see a brand vs. brand 6 woman tag match as well as the New Day facing the Viking Raiders.
We’ll be ready to rock and roll and get WWE Smackdown Live Results rolling at the 8 p.m. EST start time.
Segment 1
Half the locker room came out to stake their claim on the final spot in the men’s MITB match, and Adam Pearce announced a battle royal after the commercial.
Segment 2
Omos eliminated Ezekiel, Moss, and The Miz before Rollins eliminated himself instead of facing the giant. Riddle, Sheamus and Drew ganged up on Omos to eliminate him as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
After a intense back and forth, Corbin got lost in the shuffle and eliminated Drew and Sheamus simultaneously to win.
Segment 4
Natalya cut a promo about how she’s not surprised Ronda Rousey’s not getting movie offers, and promised to win the Smackdown Women’s Championship at MITB.
Segment 5
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik, Ivar)
The New Day spent roughly 5 minutes recapping last week and cracking jokes when the “New Vicious” Viking Raiders came out and beat them down instead of having a match.
Segment 6
Asuka, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss vs. Raquel Rodriguez, Lacey Evans, Shotzi
With Lynch on commentary, the match seemed largely forgotten early on, but Morgan took out Evans and Shotzi on the floor with a dive, then Asuka and Bliss hit a Hip attack and flip in Raquel as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
This was a good match Morgan won after hitting an Oblivion on Shotzi, and after the match, Lynch hit a Man Handle Slam on Asuka before heading up the ramp.
Segment 8
The Usos and Street Profits Ask me Anything Game Show
This was the oddest promo we’ve seen in a while, and after two questions each, they stared each other down with the teams stealing the other’s tag lines.
Segment 9
Max DuPri introduced us to his fashion conscious wrestlers, as Mace is now Ma.cé and Mansoor is Man.soor. Their tagline is titilating.
Segment 10
Money in the Bank Fatal 4 Way Qualification Match – Madcap Moss vs. Ezekiel vs. The Miz vs. Happy Corbin
The action was fast and hard hitting to start off, with Corbin suplexing Mix on the apron, then chokeslamming Ezekiel onto the announce desk in front of McAfee. McAfee looked like he had an accident as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
Corbin had it won with an End of Days on Ezekiel, but Moss threw him out of the ring and stole the pin to qualify.
