Elon Musk has responded to his ex-girlfriend Grimes’ wish to undergo an ear procedure that would give her elf-like ears.

The pair may no longer be together, but they will always be connected by the children that they share. So when Grimes expanded on the thought of getting some elf ears, it did generate a lot of talking points.
During an exchange with her fans, the star admitted that she had gotten an appointment in this regard some time previously. However, things did not end up materialising into anything.
And yet, Grimes may revisit this possibility later down the line. In her comments, she said: “Has anyone done elf ear mods with a good outcome?”
Those comments had gotten the attention of Musk, who had his own say on the matter. Rather than shoot down the idea altogether, Elon had a more philosophical approach to it.
He addressed Grimes’ concerns by admitting that the procedure had the potential to do more damage than good. In his response, Elon remarked the following: “The downside of elf ear surgery probably outweighs the upside.”
It is not exactly clear if Elon’s comments were meant to be taken in jest, but one thing for sure is that the fans on social media had a lot to say on the matter. And in the process of doing so, they felt that this was a bad idea on Grimes’ part.
Meanwhile, others simply began to troll the comments section of Elon’s tweet. One person wrote: “I think you are right as usual. It is better to have surgery on another organ of the body.”
While another person stated: “@Grimezsz Elf Ear surgery is cultural appropriation #woke @elonmusk.” Whether Grimes does end up getting elf ears is anyone’s guess, but Elon has made it clear that he is not a fan.
