Margot Robbie Tells That She Needs Tequila Before Filming Sex Scenes
Leonardo DiCaprio is an experienced actor that has hundreds of scenes behind him. All kinds of them. However, when starring in this movie, Margot Robbie had just a few. And furthermore, this was one of her first sex scenes in her career.
“I had three shots of tequila and then I took my clothes off and did the scene, and I was fine. It helped keep my hands from shaking and gave me a bit of confidence.” – the beautiful actress shares.
The scene that she filmed required her to be completely naked. However, taking in consideration that she is ‘new’ into the business and may feel uncomfortable showing herself in her birth costume the directors gave her two options.
The first option was to overcome all fears and stagefright and film the scene completely naked. This was obviously, the more desired way of filming the scene. The second option was for her to have a dressing gown on her only.
This seems like a professionalism test for the actress at the time, and as she wants to overcome her fears and prove herself, she decides to go with the first option. She wanted to make things look as natural as possible. She shares that she sees the character she played in the movie as a cocky one, full of confidence, and as someone who is aware of what capabilities she owns. Proving herself to be a professional comes in addition to this.
