That is according to royal author Tom Bower. Reports have indicated previously that Meghan had attempted to cross over into the celebrity world prior to marrying Prince Harry.
One such report included a claim that she had attempted to become a celebrity chef in the UK, as well as having turned down the opportunity to appear on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ due to a conflict with scheduling for her, then, show ‘Suits.’
Not only that, but Meghan also happened to work as a suitcase model on the game show ‘Deal or No Deal.’ And it seems she may have had similar plans for the Royal family.
In his comments, Tom said: “All she really did was complain because she wanted the spotlight, she wanted to be number one. She wanted to turn the Royal Family into a Hollywood celebrity game.
“I think she wanted the title, she wanted the fame, and then go back to California.” It is important to know that Meghan has continued to have links to the celebrity world since marrying Harry.
Her controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey was testament to that, coupled with the fact that she did appear on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show.’ And her latter appearance on Ellen resulted in her working alongside the host to pull off a celebrity prank.
It is not surprising, then, the fans on social media had a lot to say about Meghan. In the process of doing so, people began to slam Harry and the Duchess of Sussex. One person wrote: “USA CANNOT STAND THESE TWO PLAYERS!
“LIARS, THIEVES AND THEY WANT TO CALL THEMSELVES ROYAL WHEN THEY DO NOTHING UNLESS THEY GET PAID BIG BUCKS FOR IT.”
