Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding vows are expected to be renewed with only Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, being invited as a family member.
Meghan’s Mother Will Attend Her Wedding Vow Renewals As William And Kate Not Invited-‘They’re More In Love Now Than Ever’
This is a significant step as it indicates the division between Meghan’s family, as well as the royals. There is nothing to suggest that Prince William and Kate Middleton have been invited.
This is irrespective of whether they would attend, as the couple had already seen the Cambridges’ turn down Lilibet’s birthday invite.
Meanwhile, Meghan’s relationship with her father Thomas Markle has clearly not been patched up. The pair have not been on good terms ever since reports that Thomas had been staging paparazzi photos in the run-up to Meghan’s wedding.
Not only that, but Meghan had allegedly failed to reach out to her father following his recent hospitalization with a stroke. With that being said, it is clear who Meghan holds dear.
A source said: “Meghan’s mum Doria will be on the list, but she’ll be the only family member. Then there will be a handful of their close US friends – like Katherine and David [Foster], Janina [Gavankar], possibly Priyanka and Nick Jonas.
“But, obviously, it’ll all depend on their schedules.” The couple clearly have a lot on their plate at the moment. Harry’s tell-all memoir and their Netflix docuseries are in the pipeline.
This may result in both projects touching upon their personal lives in the event of the vows being renewed. In addition, the couple are now making global visits with a UK trip in September followed by a trip to Germany in the same month.
But in and amongst that, they want to commit themselves to each other. The following comments confirmed as much: “Things are going to be beyond hectic with the docuseries and other priorities.
“They’ll make the time, though, and they’re both super-excited to do this. They’re more in love now than ever, and proud of everything they’ve got through together these past four years.
“Saying their vows again is a beautiful way to underline that.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
