Let’s look at a more modern, easily accessible superstar for “Moves of Doom Mondays” in Happy Corbin. We’ll look at his finisher and several signature moves that might build up his finisher. You know the drill, it’s a scale of one to five with five being a truly devastating move in their arsenal.
End of Days
This is a rarity as we kick off with a finishing move. Happy Corbin’s End of Days is a pretty basic WWE power finisher with the big slam or suplex finish. To me, it’s nothing special but it’s very effective when paired with Corbin’s size and strength plus it’s an easy deploy finisher—which is always a plus. It just suffers from not having much wow factor.

Dream Crusher
This is more of an expected spot than a move but it is a signature of Corbin’s. After bailing from the ring or sliding out, he showcases his quickness by sliding right back into the ring from elsewhere and running over his opponent with a clothesline. It’s extremely basic but if that clothesline is hit perfectly, it’ll turn someone inside out and discombobulate them.
The simplicity is what wins me over. Who expects someone to come right back into the ring after leaving? Usually, they’re hurt, worn down, trying to buy time, or trying to create distance. No, Corbin slides right back into the ring and blasts his opponent with the clothesline. I dig it.

Chokeslam Backbreaker
Something else I dig is Happy Corbin’s Chokeslam Backbreaker. Early on, it looked pure bedrock. Like, straight spine across the knee and sometimes opponents slumped down. After a while, opponents started bouncing off the Backbreaker which is…eh. It’s fine. The visual works when it’s a quick deploy Chokeslam Backbreaker but when Corbin is really breaking an opponent to pieces, bring back the slow bedrock bump CB.
I’ll say that I’d buy this as a finisher for Corbin. It looks devastating and can be done out of nowhere. It’s similar to Orton’s Backbreaker in that way

Deep Six
Badass name for a badass move. Corbin’s Deep Six is a great finisher in that it really requires no setup. All he needs is momentum from the many ring runners in WWE to deliver a really impactful Deep Six. If no momentum is available, then more work is required but he still delivers a dope move. In some ways, it’s another quick deploy finisher that can be hit anywhere which gets it more points.
It’s been shown that the Deep Six can be done anywhere and on almost anything and is strongest as some kind of counter. It gets the full five from me.
