Juice Robinson would be wise to not assume that Yujiro Takahashi will lay down for him tonight. Jay White tried to pull that with Chase Owens and couldn’t pull it off, despite being the leader of BULLET CLUB. Tonight, Robinson will have to fight to stay in the tournament – and can’t drop a winnable match against someone like Takahashi.
Yujiro Takahashi Gets The Early Lead
A Too Sweet was offered before they’d clash, and Robinson wanted none of it. SHO was thrown from the ring, before Robinson hit some jabs to the face of Takahashi – before having his eyes raked. Takahashi would hit the running big boot, before Robinson would catch him with Snake Eyes into the corner before a big boot of his own.
SHO would run a distraction on the floor, but Robinson would just hit both men with a lariat. Takahashi would be driven into the barricade twice, before being dropped with his throat across the steel. Robinson would look for the piledriver on an exposed bit of concrete, but Takahashi would block with a backdrop.
Takahashi would nail the basement dropkick in the ring, before a Fisherman Buster for the near fall. Angle Slam would follow, but Robinson would remain in the fight. Miami Shine would be blocked, before a chop block to the knee would stagger Robinson. Pimp Juice was attempted, before Robinson blocked with a back body drop.
Juice Robinson Gets Overwhelmed
Robinson would hit the running lariat before the cannonball senton in the corner. Princes Throne gutbuster would follow, and Robinson would threaten the referee after it was only a near fall. Takahashi would be able to set up and nail Pimp Juice – but this was not enough to keep Robinson down.
Pulp Friction would be set, but Takahashi fought free. Right hand nailed the jaw, before SHO got on the apron to run a distraction. The wrench shot was blocked, and Takahashi would get a roll up for two. Robinson was able to disarm SHO, before blocking a low blow from Takahashi.
Takahashi would work to drop the referee, and SHO slid him the cane. Low blow would be followed by a lariat with the cane, before Big Juice got the three count. This puts Robinson’s back against the wall – and potentially takes him out of the running in this tournament.
