Lance Archer is not someone who fears the antics of Toru Yano. He’s got a 3-1 record against Yano in singles matches, and tonight will look to claim two more points in the G1 Climax at the expense of Yano. Yano got a big win over JONAH already in this tournament, but has had a hard time following up – with Okada & Bad Luck Fale easily taking him down. However, Yano matches are always trap matches – and Archer can’t count his points before he earns them.
The Murder Hawk Monster Knows The Tricks Of The Sublime Master Thief
After the incredibly long ring introduction of Toru Yano, Yano would show a face of fear when staring across the ring. Archer was calm and collected, and Yano would hide in the ropes to ensure he couldn’t be attacked. Manhattan Drop would be blocked due to Archer being tall enough to just land on his feet and be above the knee of Yano.
Yano would take a turnbuckle pad off, but Archer ran through him with a crossbody splash. Archer would remove another corner pad, before nailing the big boot the jaw of Yano. He’d take Yano to the floor, and drove him hard into the barricade. Archer had packed some packing tape in his back pocket, and would tape Yano the barricade and wait for the countout.
Yano once beat Archer like this, and The Murderhawk Monster remembered. Yano would barely make it back in, and thankfully packed scissors tonight. Archer would throw the CHAOS glamping DVD case at Yano, before the last two corner pads came off. This is now a four corners of steel match – unofficially.
Lance Archer Uses A Young Lion As A Weapon
Yano went to the outside, and would use Yuto Nakashima as a human shield as Archer soared off the apron with a cannonball senton. Yano would hit the low blow, and would place Nakashima on the other side of the barricade, and taped his wrist to that of Archer.
Archer would yank Nakashima through the barricade, and into the ring. He might well just swing Nakashima like a weapon while he’s at it. A double lariat would land, and it could be classed as a DQ – and Nakashima would be body slammed onto Yano.
Nakashima would be chokeslammed, and Archer would be run into the four steel corners of the ring. A spear to the spine would be followed by a school boy for a two count. Low Blow & Roll up would follow, but Archer kicked out at two. Archer would nail The Pounce, and Yano would be blacked out – and so would his tournament dreams as Archer eliminates him from the running.
