For the better part of the past year, the NXT women’s division has been ruled by Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne – otherwise known as Toxic Attraction. Between Mandy Rose having 300 days as NXT Women’s Champion, and Jayne & Dolin having two separate reigns as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions? It’s clear WWE sees something in this faction. Now, as their NXT 2.0 run seemingly comes to it’s end – they are potentially on their way to Smackdown Live tonight.
Toxic Attraction Set To Make Smackdown Live Debut For Episode 1200
Tonight, Smackdown Live comes from Montreal, Quebec, Canada – and Toxic Attraction are reportedly in town for the episode. It’s set to be the 1,200th episode of Smackdown Live – and Triple H is intending to make it one to remember. Having Toxic Attraction show up will be a good start to this.
Mandy Rose will be familiar to fans of WWE’s main roster, having previously been on the roster alongside Sonya Deville & Otis. Dolin & Jayne will be new faces to fans however, which will be appreciated in the stale Smackdown Live women’s division.
The NXT Women’s Championship reign of Rose is rumored to end soon, with a potential unification match with NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura at Worlds Collide a logical ending point for her time on the brand. Rose was sent down to really round her out as a wrestler, and improvements in her in-ring and promo skills are clear.
Kevin Owens & Riddle Also Said To Be In Town
Also rumored to be in town for tonight is Kevin Owens & Riddle. Owens showing up in his hometown was expected, with rumors of him leading Sami Zayn away from The Bloodline to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships being prevalent.
Riddle makes a bit less since, having been feuding with Seth Rollins on Smackdown Live. That said, Riddle remains popular in WWE regardless of show, and is currently one of their biggest stars. There’s no current timeline on the return of Randy Orton to the ring, following an injury earlier this year.
