Reports indicated that the couple were looking to renew their vows in the US after having gotten married in the UK. They tied the knot in 2018 at Windsor and welcomed two children in the process.
And after having relocated from the UK to the US, they have attempted to forge a life of independence. Their Spotify and Netflix deals have gone some way to doing that which is why the couple are more determined to renew their vows since they have come so far.
A source confirmed the following: “The vow renewal is going to happen – and if that bothers anyone in the UK, then to hell with them.”
If those comments are taken to be true, then they are very significant for the following reasons. First of all, it is most likely that Prince William and Kate Middleton as well as any other leading royal member is unlikely to be invited.
This would be a clear sign from the couple that they are moving on to creating their own lives, irrespective of the criticism they may get over how they spoke out against the Royal family.
Secondly, if the pair do carry out their ceremony without any major royals being present, then it shows once again that Harry and Meghan will have retaliated in response to the treatment they received.
After all, William and Kate did turn down an opportunity to attend Lilibet’s birthday. With that being said, Harry and Meghan are unlikely to reach out.
