Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to return to the UK next month has been motivated by money.
Harry And Meghan’s UK Return Motivated By Money-‘It’s Just Not Right,’ Says Royal Expert Angela Levin
That is according to royal expert Angela Levin. The pair are set to visit in September for the purposes of the ‘One Young World Summit,’ and the ‘WellChild Awards.’
While their visit has been credited for the sake of carrying out their charitable work, not everyone has been convinced by that. And none more so than Angela who questioned the motives of the Sussexes.
In her comments, she said: “They hate us. They do not want to know us. But they want to keep in with us, so they can earn more money. (It) could not be more shocking.”
It is no secret that Harry’s upcoming tell-all memoir is set to hit the shelves this year. In addition, Netflix have given the couple the greenlight for their docuseries.
So having the opportunity to include some of the UK in their brand could potentially boost sales of the memoir or increase the publicity for the docuseries.
Not only that, but as the pair returned to the UK a short time after having just visited for the Jubilee, there is a feeling that their new approach could include more UK visits.
Angela’s following comments confirmed as much: “It’s just not right. You cannot be part of something and then make money out of it if it is the British Royal Family much admired throughout the world.”
The response on social media was much the same. A certain subset of people felt this was another publicity attempt by the couple to keep themselves relevant in the UK.
One person wrote: “I can count the reasons: earn more money , flash more expensive clothes and jewelry, get back at the RF for allowing “revenge ” to be published.”
Time will tell how Harry and Meghan do end up being received in the UK. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
