Travis Barker has reportedly decided to join Machine Gun Kelly on tour, despite having been medically advised not to do so.
Travis Barker Agrees To Join MGK On Tour ‘Against His Doctor’s Orders’
This was a shock to say the least, especially since Travis had recently been hospitalised with pancreatitis. This condition had become so severe to the point where the inflammation in his stomach was no longer tolerable.
And yet, shortly after his release, Travis was pictured going back to the studio. In the same manner, then, he decided to join MGK on tour. In the picture here, we can see a screenshot of MGK and Barker having a facetime call together.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Against his doctor’s orders AND with a broken thumb, I convinced @travisbarker to come join us for the last couple days.”
Despite having agreed to do so, this is probably not a wise thing for the following reasons. First of all, the fact that Travis is a newly married man will not make things easier for his wife Kourtney Kardashian.
And after having stood by him when he was hospitalised, she will not want to see him exert himself, especially if something goes wrong.
Secondly, if Travis does end up overworking himself, then he has nobody to blame but himself. But it seems that MGK and Barker have a special bond which only few friends have.
When speaking on their friendship at his concert in Los Angeles in July of last month, MGK introduced Barker with the following warm words: “There’s a person I grew up idolising that I became friends with and he believed in me.
“And never more have I wanted to jam to a song that he and I created. L.A.’s own Travis Barker, make some noise for him tonight.”
