Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are returning to the United Kingdom for a series of charity visits in September 2022 — raising the prospect that they could visit their royal relatives.

Things have not been the same since Harry and Meghan stepped down from the royal duties. There is even an ongoing estrangement from Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might have moved into Adelaide Cottage in Windsor by the time Meghan and Harry arrive the U.K, which means they will only be a short distance away from each other as Frogmore Cottage is on the Queen’s Windsor Castle estate.

However, there are “no current plans” for the couples to meet up, a source tells PEOPLE. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be in close proximity to the Queen, who is usually at Balmoral Castle in Scotland during this time of year, and may travel back in order to meet with the departing Prime Minister Boris Johnson as well as his incoming successor.
The Queen may be called upon to confirm the appointments of Cabinet ministers who will serve in the new government. An insider told PEOPLE that “There are a lot of moving parts in the diary for the Queen that week.” It is not yet known whether those meetings will take place at Buckingham Palace in London or at Windsor Castle.
Prince Harry and Meghan may arrive early and travel to Scotland to see the Queen ahead of their planned outings. The couple will be in Manchester for the One Young World Summit on September 5 and in Germany for the Invictus Games’ “One Year to Go” the next day and back to the United Kingdom for the Well Child Awards on September 8.
