Wendy’s Employee Charged with Second-Degree Murder After Customer Dies
Days earlier on July 26, Antoine Kendrick got into an argument with the customer at a Prescott Valley Wendy’s over his order or the service. It’s unknown what exactly was wrong with the order but that service was about to become worse. The argument became heated to the point that Kendrick stepped from behind the counter and hit the customer in the head.
It proved to be the wrong decision for the Wendy’s employee as the almost 70-year-old customer fell to the floor unconscious and had to be air-lifted to a hospital for treatment. He remained in critical condition until August 5 when he succumbed to his head trauma, according to police.
At the time of the attack, Antoine Kendrick was arrested for aggravated assault but that charge was upgraded to second-degree murder with the victim’s death.
